We are excited to stock certified organic Creapaper grass paper. Grass paper is a paper made with at least 30% grass fibre using new technological advances. As well as providing an interesting texture to the paper, grass paper is biodegradable, compostable & uses less chemicals. Grass paper is also sustainable and offers additional sources of income for agriculture plus it creates jobs in regions with high rural depopulation and unemployment.
Composting in the garden is a great way to reuse resources, improve the soil and protect the environment.
These products are certified as being both home and commercially compostable.
Compostable products are made of materials that decompose completely without producing toxic residues in the process, so are not harmful to the plants and earthworms.
Do remove any courier tickets or tape before composting, and the timeframe of breakdown is dependent on many factors such as moisture and constant temperature which is variable in a home compost.
The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organisation which promotes sustainable forest management through independent third party certification. It is considered the certification system of choice for small forest owners.
